It also compares different religious branches of knowledge. It networks and dovetails the characteristic nuances related to harmony and peace among religions, in view of a better neighbourhood, nation and society.

The book vouches to travel through the high ways, streets and corners of all religions and faiths. It is committed to exploring the universal values that form the nerve hub of human culture. ‘Inclusive thinking and harmonious living’ among people of all affiliations is the ultimate destination of mission religious harmony. ‘I have a mission to you’, ‘you have a mission to me’ and ‘we have a collective mission towards the country and the larger society’ is the logic of life, of mission religious harmony, as well.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Dr M. D. Thomas is Founder Director, Institute of Harmony and Peace Studies, New Delhi, and has been committed to education, cross-cultural perspectives, cross-scriptural values, constitutional values, interfaith relations, social ethics, communal harmony, national integration and social wellbeing, for the past nearly45 years. He contributes to the above mission through lectures, books, articles, messages, video messages, conferences, social interactions, views at TV channels, and the like.

Ph.D. in Hindi Literature from Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi, on a multi-disciplinary and cross-cultural theme ‘Kabeer aur Eesaayee Chintan’, he has to his credit 6 books, some 450 articles, 2 music albums, nearly 1500 lectures at diverse platforms including some 100 universities and colleges, over 100 YouTube video messages on multi-religious, literary, regional, national and international themes, along with some 75 TV interviews and views. He is recipient of over 20 awards and honours, including UN Inter-faith Harmony Week Prize 2021.
